- New information and regular status reports are recorded on the control mechanism according to workflow practices.
- An understanding of the work on the job card to be done is described in terms of allocating work to the responsible person
- The areas of expertise of the various technical staff are described in terms of their competencies and area of responsibility.
- Jobs are allocated to the technical staff in accordance with their identified areas of expertise and job descriptions.
- Subcontractors on the company contractor database are categorised according to jobs that may be allocated to them.
- Sublet work is dispatched to the sub-contractor in accordance with company policy and procedures.
- Sublet work is monitored according to company policy and procedures to ensure that agreed time frames negotiated with the customer is maintained
